Founder – Gail Parker
Gail C. Parker, M.Ed., stands as a beacon of dedication and compassion in the realm of mental
health and wellness, with a career spanning over three decades. A visionary leader, lifestylist,
speaker, and author, Gail’s expertise is deeply rooted in a holistic approach to mental health,
education, and nutrition. Her unwavering commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and
inclusion has left an indelible mark on communities far and wide.
As a triumphant survivor of diabetes, lupus, and fibromyalgia, Gail’s life mission is to lead others
on their journey to greatness. Her personal health journey fuels her trailblazing spirit in the field,
driving her to champion innovative treatment modalities and advocate tirelessly for mental health
awareness. Gail’s daily goal is to spearhead a nationwide movement towards a healthier, natural,
and balanced lifestyle. She is a steadfast advocate for environmental stewardship and a vocal
opponent of the stigma surrounding mental illness.
In 2023, Gail co-founded 7 Dimensions, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, with her husband Dr. John
Parker. The organization is dedicated to empowering underserved and at-risk youth through
comprehensive programs in emotional, physical, occupational, social, spiritual, financial, and
intellectual aspects, providing them with equitable opportunities and striving to bridge the
educational divide.
Gail’s illustrious career includes serving as Community Outreach Manager at the Drug
Enforcement Administration (DEA), where she spearheaded transformative drug prevention
efforts for youth K-16. Her work involved engaging with medical professionals, educational
institutions, and government bodies to bridge gaps in public health and safety. As a Mental
Health/Substance Abuse Counselor, she applied cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational
interviewing to guide clients towards holistic wellness and recovery.
In academia, Gail has served as Adjunct Psychology Faculty at institutions including Argosy
University and David Meyer College. Her role as an Outreach Coordinator & Academic
Counselor for Native American programs at Chandler-Gilbert Community College highlights her
dedication to promoting educational opportunities and cultural competency among diverse
student populations.

Mental Health Advocacy
Collaborates with the National Alliance on Mental Illness
(NAMI) to advocate for policy change. Engages with educational institutions and
community organizations across the country, including Southern New Hampshire
University, Rivier University, Santa Monica College, and various school districts in
California.

Implements mindfulness and yoga as effective
treatments for mental health disorders..

Community Outreach
Provides vital support to un-sheltered communities, including
mental health services, social-emotional learning, education, and resources. Builds
partnerships with government agencies and non-profits, including the LA Attorney
General’s Office, LA Medical Examiner’s Office, FBI, and LA Department of Education.

Leadership Roles
Became the youngest Director of Foster and Adoption Department at
Cuyahoga County Children and Family Services at age 26. Served as a consultant for
Annie Casey and Kellogg Foundation, influencing policy and driving positive change in
the industry.

Develops self-care, personal development, and work-life balance
programs for professionals, students, and the public.

Published Author
Wrote “Secrets of a Diabetic,” an inspiring memoir chronicling her
journey to recovery and resilience.
A Beacon of Hope and Dedication
Gail’s commitment extends beyond her professional roles. She actively develops and facilitates
workshops and programs aimed at empowering youth and adults, particularly in combating the
opioid epidemic and substance use prevention. Her wellness advocacy includes conducting
training programs on work-life balance and implementing initiatives like the “Stop Diabetes at
Work” program with The American Diabetes Association and the “One Pill Can Kill” campaign
with the DEA.
A dedicated community servant, Gail is affiliated with organizations such as The County of San
Diego Black Chamber of Commerce, The American Diabetes Association, Boys and Girls Club,
and Big Brothers Big Sister. She has served on numerous boards and committees, including the
Governor’s and Mayor’s Opioid Task Force in New Hampshire and committees at Los Angeles
Children’s Hospital.
Gail holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Adult Counseling, Learning, and Development from
Cleveland State University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology from Ohio University.
Her credentials include past licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and current
certifications as an Herbalist and Sports Nutrition Advisor.
In 2023, she celebrated two decades of marriage with Dr. John Parker, a pillar of strength and
love in her life. As a proud mother of three and a doting grandmother, Gail wishes to leave an
indelible mark on society. Guided by her mantra of truth, love, and gratitude, she approaches
each day as if she were writing her own legacy and passionately encourages others to do the
same.
Through 7 Dimensions and her ongoing community work, Gail continues to be a beacon of hope,
working tirelessly to create a more equitable and empowered future for underserved youth. Her
tireless advocacy, coupled with her extensive experience and innovative problem-solving, make
her a shining example of compassion, dedication, and unwavering commitment to enriching the
